The Family Department is headed by Mr Chris King, the firm's principal and owner. Chris specialises in children cases, including care proceedings, adoption, applications for special guardianship orders, contact disputes, residence disputes, applications to remove children from the jurisdiction and regularly acts for children and parents in such cases. Chris is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority's Children Panel. His membership of this panel recognises him as an expert in children cases and enables him to represent children and adults in often difficult and complex cases involving children, parents and local authorities. Chris is also a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority's Family Law Panel and 'Resolution' and is committed to providing a constructive and non-adversarial approach to children and family cases.

Chris's Personal Assistant is Polly Mills who helps with the day-to-day running of cases and general enquiries. Polly is a qualified Paralegal and has considerable experience in a number of different areas of law but with a bias towards family and personal injury cases.

The family department also consists of Emma Lloyd and Ann Warmisham.
